ed2go Learning Olympics
We're excited to announce a new student promotion designed to help you increase student enrollments! The ed2go Learning Olympics launches February 1st and runs until February 28th.
How the promotion works:
When a student enrolls in and pays for a Online Course, they are automatically entered into a drawing to win. The more courses a student enrolls in, the more they can win!

Prizes:
- Bronze: Enroll & pay for 1 online course, win a $25 American Express gift card
- Silver: Enroll & pay for 2 online courses, win a $50 American Express gift card
- Gold: Enroll & pay for 3 online courses, win a $100 American Express gift card
A total of 30 prizes will be awarded; 10 winners per prize denomination. One prize per student.
Technology Update
Thank you to all of our wonderful partners who submitted feedback on recent changes to the Online Instruction Centers and Online Administration Centers. Your input is invaluable to us as we continue to make changes that we hope will improve your and your students' experience with ed2go. If you have any ideas on how we can continue to improve, please share them with your Account Manager.
Among the new features now available at your Online Administration Center is a regularly updated News section on the home page that will contain important announcements or news we have to share with you. We announced a contest recently and received great responses from many of you regarding unique marketing ideas, some of which you can find included in this issue. We have also updated the marketing section at your Online Administration Center to make it easier to find the resources to help market your ed2go program.
Increase Students Enrollments in 2010
Thank you to everyone who submitted ideas of how you increased student enrollments in January. Below are some of the ideas we received, and each month we will publish your marketing successes, so please keep them coming! Congratulations to Kerrie from Anderson University who was the winner of our drawing for a free lunch for her department. Remember, you can always submit your ideas to: ed2go.marketing@cengage.com.
Creative Marketing Ideas:
- We offered gift certificates for people to purchase for Christmas or any time - their loved one can pick a course from a list we provide with the certificate.
- We started promoting an "online course of the month" in our e-newsletter and on our website.
- We partnered with our MBA program to offer a special promotion to MBA students with a discount if they sign up by a certain time (this was for a specific course - Intro to Microsoft Excel 2007 - students need to know Excel in order to participate in the accounting course.)
