New Updates Coming to ed2go-pro

We are in the process of giving ed2go-pro a new design with an emphasis on co-branding to businesses and industries in your area. Watch your e-mail for updates and more information on these changes. If you currently do not use ed2go-pro to work with your business partners, contact your Account Manager for more information.

Updated Web site for ed2go Career Training Programs

Over the past several months, we’ve been hard at work updating the design of the Career Training Program Web site to make it easier for students to find the program they're looking for. On Friday, May 28th, the new design of www.gatlineducation.com will go live.

Rebranding
One of the biggest changes you'll notice is that the Web site is now branded as ed2go instead of Gatlin Education Services. All references to Gatlin Education Services or GES will change to ed2go, and we'll use product names – Online Courses and Career Training Programs – to distinguish between the products. We encourage you to start referring to your ed2go six-week courses as Online Courses and to the career-focused programs as Career Training Programs to ensure consistency with your students.

Navigation
A significant upgrade to the new Web site is easier navigation for students who are looking for a particular program. On the Home Page, there are now four opportunities for students to browse through the programs, and a Catalog listing on the right-hand side of the page shows how many programs are offered within that category.

Search Function
Students looking for a particular program can enter keywords in the search bar and then receive relevant display results. For example, a user who enters the word "Accounting" will receive all accounting-related Career Training Programs.

Updated Program Content
We've rewritten the program descriptions for each of the 120+ Career Training Programs to make the text clearer and consistent and more concise.

We are excited to share these new changes with you and would love your feedback on the new Web site. Please e-mail ed2go.marketing@cengage.com with your comments and suggestions.

Marketing to Teaching Professionals

Now is the ideal time to start promoting your ed2go Online Courses and Career Training to teaching professionals. With the academic year quickly coming to a close, teaching professionals will finally have a spare moment to focus on courses that they need in order to keep their certification up to date.

Here's some helpful tips to help you get started:

  • Print flyers to distribute locally or send out a mailer to teaching professionals near you. Check out the Teaching section on the Marketing Support page for ready-to-use templates. You just need to fill in your school's information and print them!
  • Send an e-mail to teaching professionals who have taken an ed2go Online Course or Career Training Program before. Provide links to your Online Instruction Center and specific course titles they may be interested in.
  • Send a press release to local media to inform teaching professionals about the courses and program offered at your institution.

Talk to your Account Manager for more ideas and for help implementing your marketing activities. Doing something as simple as sending an e-mail about your Teaching Professional Development courses will help increase enrollments!
