Online Course Updates

We made changes to two of our Online Course titles to more accurately reflect their content and to be more consistent with other offerings in our catalog.

Revised Titles:

Additionally, we changed two Online Courses titles to more clearly position them with their related Career Training Programs. These new series make it easier for your students to go from exploring a career interest to successfully jumping into that career.

Revised Titles:

  • Medical Coding is now named Explorer a Career in Medical Coding. Upon completion of this course, students should be encouraged to continue their studies in ed2go's Medical Billing and Coding Career Training Program.
  • Medical Transcription is now named Explore a Career in Medical Transcription. Upon completion of this course, students should be encouraged to continue their career preparation with the Medical Transcription Career Training Program.

Career Training Program Update

ICD-10 Medical Coding: Preparation and Instruction for Implementation now includes a textbook and information pertaining to the law that healthcare entities must implement by October 1, 2013. View the updated Program Overview which will provide a more detailed explanation.

ed2go Verification Deadlines

The May session began on Wednesday, May 19th. If you have students who paid you directly, you will need to verify their enrollment on the Roster in your Online Administration Center. The Roster Verification Deadline was Tuesday, May 25th. If your students were not verified by the 25th, they lost access to the classroom. However, you will still have until the Verification Grace Period ends on Tuesday, June 1st to verify your students. For any late verifications after June 1st, we will charge a $10 late verification fee to grant your students access to the May session.
